Hi! I’m Megan, the founder of Rambunctious Saints.

I became a catechist in 2017. I first volunteered with my parish’s middle school faith formation program (6th to 8th grade), from 2017 to 2020. When my oldest started faith formation in 2022, I jumped down to early elementary.

I’m also a freelancer, a writer, and a mom of three living in Northern Virginia. My family attends a large parish that is staffed by Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales, although I grew up in a small parish in California’s Central Valley. Along with being a catechist, I’m also a lector and I sing with the choir.

For fun, I’m a bookworm, a history nerd, and a travel lover.

When I’m at faith formation, I always wear a shirt from Brick House in the City that says, “Teaching rambunctious saints” to remind myself that, no matter how well or rough that session went, that’s what I’m doing. And that’s what you’re doing too.
